First, sorry I didn't blog last night. Got in late and was just too tired! But yesterday I ate breakfast at Norma's, did some shopping and went to the neighborhood wine tasting (which explains the lack of blog).
Today, Rob had a fencing exhibition at Lake Cliff Park, so I tagged along and brought my metal detector. I haven't gone treasure hunting in quite some time, so it was fun. I didn't find much--33 cents, I think--but it was fun anyway.
I had a downy woodpecker at my suet feeder today. First woodpecker I've seen in forever.
For Date Night we tried to visit a new Mexican restaurant that is supposed to be wonderful, but it was closed. So we settled for Ally Oops Sports Bar, and it was okay. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful weather and watched the birds flying around. A duck flew right over our heads.
