I found out today that UNDER DEEPEST COVER, my Silhouette Desire from last year, is a finalist in the Holt Medallion, which is a competition for published romances. A very nice little perk. Winners will be announced in June.
I did some more writing exercises today. One of them involved writing back-cover copy for my new book. Another meant I had to come up with ten ideas for ending the book. Which is good, because I need a new ending. The first one I came up with was dull, predictable.
We had dinner at Gloria's, which is the Mexican/Salvadoran restaurant my mother-in-law always wants to go to when she visits. I only ate one of my three enchiladas, yet I still managed to feel completely stuffed. Might've had something to do with the beer, or the chips and black bean dip.
We came home and watched two more episodes of "Firefly." Fun, fun. Oh, yeah, we walked to the library and to Gloria's and it was freezing. This cold weather is downright peculiar.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kara
