Meeting an old friend

Today I drove all the way to Ft. Worth to visit with a woman I got to know many years ago when we took the Silva Mind Development class together. We hadn't stayed in touch, but a few weeks ago she ran across my business card and decided to track me down. We've talked on the phone a few times and had so much fun that we decided we had to get together in person.

So we had a four-hour lunch at Central Market. It really was a lot of fun--you know how some people you just instantly feel comfortable with, like a long-lost sister?

I did get a bit of writing done in the car, using my digital recorder. But I haven't transcribed it yet so I don't know how many pages. Probably only about three or four.

Later I went to yoga, then came home and made soup for my Wishcraft retreat tomorrow. We're having a slumber party at Lake Tawakoni! I'm really looking forward to some girl time in a relaxing place, away from phones and computers (though I'm bringing my little computer in case I need to write something.)

Thanks for visiting,
Kara
