workshops, laundry and crime shows

Nothing like a lazy Sunday.
Well, not so lazy this morning. I put the finishing touches on the workshop I'm doing Tuesday for the Austin romance writers. I'm talking about psychics, and how to effectively incorporate psychic characters into a stories. As I'm working on this presentation, I was reaching back into my memory for anecdotes connected with psychic people I've known, and I realized how many I've known over the years. I seem to attract them.
I washed sheets, and I registered for the RWA conference. I blogged on the Harlequin American Authors blog did a little bit of clean-up and updating on my personal blog (notice the new cover?)
But after lunch I flopped onto the couch with an afghan and I didn't move. I alternated between watching crime shows and reading a Rita book--a good one this time.
Next week is going to be busy and crazy, so it was nice to have a bit of down time today, to make sure I'm really over my cold and ready to hit it hard tomorrow!
Have a great week,
Kara
