Today was the first day of the year that I ate my lunch on the deck. The weather was beautiful today. First I had to clean an inch of dirt off my table. I guess rain in the city is just dirty.
The goldfinches treated me to a show. I had five on my feeder at one time. Not much other bird action, though.
Another quiet day. I spent almost all day writing, and I am finally getting a handle on this book, I think. Only about 65 pages left to go.
We watched the Tour of California recap. It drives me crazy when a five-hour race is reduced to 45 minutes, but we got the gist of it. Levi is still wearing the yellow jersey, looking good. My man Fabian Cancellera has fallen way back (sniff sniff).
