Yesterday I spent a good deal of time in the room working on my online goal-setting workshop. Writing an online workshop takes longer than writing a regular, public-speaking type workshop. Instead of typing, "Tell about X here" I have to actually type out every word I would normally say! But at least I'm finished. I have one more to go, an Agents workshop I'm scheduled to do last week of March.
I did spend some time on the beach. It was very cold yesterday but not as bad as Thursday, so once I got my blood pumping I could at least pull off my hood. I walked a long, long way--maybe five or six miles. I watched lots of birds but didn't see any new ones. I stopped for lunch at a pancake house (every other restaurant here is a pancake house or a sub shop). I didn't see much of Rob all day and probably won't today, either.
I'm having lunch today with Carolyn, an old friend from Dallas who moved to Virginia a couple of years ago. She is driving two hours to meet me! That's a good friend. Afterward I'm planning to take a taxi to the nature preserve and get serious about the birdwatching. So hopefully next time you hear from me I'll have some new birds to report!
That's all for now,
Kara
