I've really done nothing today except work on my book. Oh, well, okay, I did a couple of loads of laundry but even those aren't all the way done.
Rob was gone all day (teaching bridge) so there was no one here to drag me out of the house on a walk or to the store or out to eat. So I just sat here with my laptop and polished and polished and polished.
I still have 50 pages to go! I so wanted to have it done today. Tomorrow is my critique group (I have nothing to bring) . Lord knows I don't want to bring them this book. I don't want anyone but me to go near it at this point. A critiquer might find something wrong with it, and then I would have to work on it some more and I don't think I can stand that. Good, bad or ugly, it's time to push this one out of the nest.
I hope you'll check the Harlequin American Authors blog today, because I've blogged there, too. I talk about my "vacation" from Harlequin. http://HARauthors.blogspot.com.
Thanks for visiting,
Kara
Pages: about 200 polished (really!)
Where did I walk: nowhere
Treasures found: does a dime in the washing machine count?
Affirmation: I have clean clothes. Wrinkled, but clean.
