It was really time. I'd had these lovely cupboards built weeks ago, but I can't use them until I paint them. Today was the day, but boy was it more work than I was planning on. I spent a good part of the day working on it, and I'm less than halfway done. I had to stop because I ran out of paint. So instead of finishing my book this weekend, which I'd been planning on, I'll have to continue painting tomorrow.
I think right now I'll take a bubble bath and try to scrub the paint off me! I'm a messy painter. I practically bathe in the stuff. Although I'll just get all messy again tomorrow, I do have to go out to breakfast tomorrow and I need to look halfway acceptable.
On a completely different subject, have you seen that State Farm Auto Insurance commercial where the people talk about a car driving through their living room window in the middle of the night, and they call their State Farm agent and she takes care of things at 2 a.m.? The agent, Kathy Wall, is my insurance agent. I've been with her for 15 years. And there she was on TV. It was kind of freaky.
Rob has been at a martial arts thingy most of the day. It's quiet around here without him!
Hope you're having a great weekend,
Kara
