My "Dream Team"

I've decided to call my Wishcraft group my "Dream Team." 'Cause that's what we do--help make dreams come true. We had a nice meeting today. No one had any huge breakthroughs, but we've all made some steady progress. Afterward we met the critique group at Starbucks (social meeting, not a working meeting) and got to hear about Kay's trip to Carlsbad Caverns, where she lost her two children for a couple of hours. Apparently it was a pretty scary deal.

Today I finished my polish. Well, I got to the end, anyway. I still have one chapter to revise--I saved it to last. It should only take me a couple of hours. Then I have to do one more read-through (just a proofreading, really) and I should be good to go. I can't tell you how excited it will be to send this puppy off. I've been working on it for sooooo long (off and on).

I made a nice salad for dinner, then had a totally undeserved TV marathon--Mythbusters, The First 48, and Dr. G. I got no exercise of any kind today, unless you count walking up and down the grocery store aisles. (But I suppose I should get credit for grocery shopping since I've been putting it off for weeks!)
