Actually, that should be "line edits for ONE STUBBORN TEXAN." But since it took all day, I guess they were stubborn. I make lots of mistakes. I was also dealing with a freelance editor, since mine is still out with a broken ankle, and the freelancer was questioning things Johanna had already approved. but, oh well. I'm glad Johanna didn't have to edit this book, since my heroine has a badly sprained ankle through most of the story.
I did manage a quick trip out to lunch with Judy and Vicki. We went to Casa Milagro, where I ordered a spinach salad (and I love Mexican food). I've got to draw the line somewhere--my diet has been the pits lately. But after lunch I scurried home and back to work. At least it's all done now.
Now it's off to do laundry and read Rita books.
Oh, I forgot to mention yesterday--AN HONORABLE MAN, my March firefighter book, was named #1 in a list of Top 10 romantic reads to get you in the mood for Valentine's Day, as listed in the eharlequin newsletter. Also on the list were books by Nora Roberts and Lori Foster. I have no idea who makes up the list. But it's very nice, anyway.
Also, if you see any red $1-off coupons for Harlequin/Silhouette books floating around, you can thank me. That was my idea, which I e-mailed to Harlequin's PR department, and they used it!
Thanks for visiting,
Kara
