Chocolate Angel

That's the name of the tea room where I had lunch today. Cute, huh?

First, though, I went to Wishcraft. Nothing remarkable going on there; we're all just plugging away at our goals. Then we met the rest of the critique group at Chocolate Angel to celebrate Kay's birthday. She had more to celebrate than just a birthday, though; her new agent has made their first submission of her romantic suspense--to TEN publishers. TEN. Wow. Unfortunately she got some bad news also. Her son got poked in the eye at Boy Scout camp and scratched his cornea, so he had to come home. Poor kid, and poor Mom.

After a trip to the bank and the post office (hi, Chrissy, if you're out there I finally got your prize in the mail!). Came home just long enough to check e-mail and change my clothes, and I went to yoga. Cheryl, my teacher, knew just what to do to fix my sore back. It actually feels better tonight.

No progress at all on my book, but Thursdays are sometimes like that. But I did see a pretty scissor-tail flycatcher. He was fluttering and showing off very close to my car. He looked much like the one pictured above, but with more red under his wings.
