Despite tromping around at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve for about two hours, I didn't see anything very interesting. But it was a beautiful morning, and I saw lots of bunny rabbits. The baby bunnies, like the baby squirrels, don't seem very wary of humans. The squirrels, especially, are very curious about me and if I stand still they'll come so close I could touch them. They're so cute, the way they peek at me from behind the tree, then hide again and peek out from the other side.
We had Wishcraft today, our last official meeting with Judy, who is moving to Austin. She said she will come back for meetings sometimes. She's been with the group only a few months but she's been a wonderful addition.
Had lunch with writer friends, then took poor Chloe (cat) to the vet. She has been scratching like crazy. The vet said he has had cat after cat after dog after dog come in with the same problem. Allergies going nuts this time of year. He gave her a steroid shot and, and a few hours and $44 later, we're both a lot happier. I'll let her sleep with me now.
I have a massive headache so I'm off to bed. (Sinus--allergies!)
Thanks for visiting,
Kara
