Critiquing

Rob requires an emergency critique on a four-hundred-page manuscript. He promised his agent he would get this book polished up and sent to her by end of next week. So that's what I did today.

I also did laundry, watched a couple of crime shows, and went for a walk. We saw a big tree filled with goldfinches, house finches and cedar waxwings--they looked like colorful Christmas ornaments. All the years in Dallas, I've never seen or noticed sights like that. Being aware of the birds has opened my eyes.

That's it. Not even any interesting food to report. We had chicken-noodle soup and apple sauce for dinner.
