This morning I rode the train to Richardson. Jane Graves picked me up at the station and we went to her house so she could teach me how to use SwishMax. It's a program for making Flash movies. She is really, really good at it--she makes book trailers. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy the program or not. Yea, another way to procrastinate, but it's so fun!
After playing around with the program, we went to Chile's for lunch, where we figured out all the secrets of the publishing world. (Don't we wish.)
I took my baby computer with me and wrote on the train going and returning, and managed to eek out 9 pages. Nine pages, that's pretty good! I may finish this book yet!
Went to yoga tonight. Lovely class, as always. We opened the door to our room and let a lovely breeze blow in all during class. When I got home, Rob and I decided there was no food in the house (it's not exactly true) and we walked to Norma's. I had breakfast for dinner--yum.
Tomorrow is my first REAL critique group in years. I'm a little nervous. I'm bringing the first ten pages of my YA paranormal just to see what kind of reaction I get.
Thanks for stopping by,
Kara
